Training on Child Psychology (Phase II) to the Judges.

The Bhutan National Legal Institute in collaboration with the Supreme Court of Bhutan under the technical assistance from the Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan, is conducting a three-day training on Child Psychology (Phase II) to the Judges from 03 – 05 November 2021. The training aims to help the participants understand the fundamentals of child development and child psychology in the light of justice for children; equip with best practices and approaches to effectively aid a child in conflict with law (CICL) and child in difficult circumstances (CIDC), and apply skills and strengthen competencies to work with them (CICL and CIDC).

The training is funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) under the Justice Sector Programme. A total of 32 Judges are attending the three-day training.
