A two-day Judicial Induction and Orientation Program for the Acting Judges and Court Registrars (JIOP 2023) concluded successfully today. Considering the crucial role of the Judges and Court Registrars, the Bhutan National Legal Institute acknowledges the value of preparing the new appointees to execute their responsibilities efficiently. The programme is being conducted with the objective to enhance judicial competence; assist new appointees to make a smooth transition to judicial office through the provision of education and training. This programme focuses on developing judicial skills, knowledge and attitudes required for judging and facilitating judicial proceedings efficiently. JIOP is a part of the Institute’s Continuing Legal Education and Professional Development of the judicial personnel.
