Gender justice is a human right; every woman and girl is entitled to live in dignity and in freedom, without any fear. Gender Justice is indispensable for development, poverty reduction, and is crucial to achieving human progress. Realizing it includes sharing of power and responsibility between women and men at home, in the workplace, and in the wider national and international communities.
The Bhutan National Legal Institute in its quest to share the comprehensive and multifaceted view on Gender Justice is organizing a three – day virtual training on “Gender Justice” in collaboration with the National Law University, Jodhpur from 19 – 21 May 2021. The training will discuss enriching subjects on Gender Justice – Human Rights Perspectives, Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace, Feminist Jurisprudence etc. A total of 19 judges and judicial officers are attending the training.
